    The Director, Philanthropy has the overall responsibility to provide strategic leadership in the development and delivery of an organisation-wide philanthropic framework for Queensland Museum Network (QMN) with the full support of the Board, CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

    Queensland Museum Network (QMN) is the custodian of the State Collection: a magnificent assemblage of 15.2 million cultural objects, natural history specimens and geological treasures documenting Queensland’s story –past, present and future. One of Queensland’s oldest institutions, QMN reaches beyond the constraints of geography to connect with communities through a dynamic, state-wide network that includes four award-winning museums; a state-of-the-art collections and research centre; education loans program; virtual museum online; best-selling publications; a museums and cultural heritage development program and major events such as World Science Festival. 

     

  • About Georgina

    A Bachelor of Music with a Certificate in Fundraising Management, from the Institute of Fundraising UK and international CFRE accreditation, Georgina came to Australia in 2007, bringing an impressive collection of skills and experience developed in the UK through roles including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Horticultural Society.  The personal attributes Georgina offers include a high level of integrity; a considered and disciplined approach to setting priorities and executing strategies; empathy, tact, and persistence; and a diplomatic and collaborative manner.  With strong verbal and written communication skills, she has the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality, can apply sound judgement and sensitivity to decision making and problem solving and delivers attention to detail with a focus on positive outcomes.
