Our client, a trusted and values-driven organisation, is seeking a passionate and skilled Service Leader to join their dedicated team on the Sunshine Coast. Known for their person-centred approach, our client takes pride in providing inclusive, community-based aged care services that are flexible, timely, and responsive to individual needs.
In this role, the Service Leader will operate within a defined geographical region, using their exceptional leadership abilities to build, support, and sustain a highly cohesive and effective team. This team will be driven by a shared commitment to safeguarding the rights of clients while ensuring their personal and health care needs are met through advocacy, choice, and control.
Our client is recognised for empowering older individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. The Service Leader will play a pivotal role in this mission by navigating complex care issues and collaborating with clients and their families to plan and access the right care and support services. Acting as both an advocate and a guiding voice, the Service Leader will provide stability, compassion, and expert advice to help clients achieve their individual goals.
As a skilled and empathetic case manager, the Service Leader will also mentor and motivate a community-based team. By fostering collaboration and delivering supervision and support, they will build the team’s capacity to ensure the highest standards of care and support are provided to both clients and families.
The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Community Services/Disability (or equivalent qualifications) or relevant industry experience. They will also hold current Blue and Yellow Cards and demonstrate proven expertise in leadership, coordination, case management, problem-solving, and peer support. A strong ability to listen, negotiate, and work effectively within regulatory frameworks is essential for success in this role.
