Draw on your significant administrative knowledge & experience with data analysis to keep Centres ticking over beautifully.
- Practice Management leadership across two centres
- FT perm role-based in Ipswich with outreach to Kingaroy
- Appealing remuneration and benefits
A busy, pivotal role to own for an unflappable and empathetic professional.
Long established and trustworthy, this NFP community-based support organisation has a well-earned reputation for providing mental health and suicide prevention services to people and their families across 30 locations in QLD and NSW. This organisation is focused on improving the wellbeing and quality of life outcomes of people across the community, utilising a person-centred approach to care.
Through its accessible person-led services, it helps individuals across the mental health spectrum achieve more independent and positive ‘lives beyond illness’.
Working with the Clinical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of administrative functions across two Medicare Mental Health Centres in Ipswich and Kingaroy – managing high level data and systems oversight whilst providing skilled support and advice to the dynamic, growing team in Ipswich and the small, cohesive team in Kingaroy.
A busy, multi-faceted role for a seasoned, measured, empathetic and professional administrator with significant experience in running busy and rapidly expanding health services or similar. A background in mental health service delivery will be especially welcomed.
While the primary purpose of this critically important service is to make clients feel welcome and well looked after, your previous work will have given you a very good understanding of just how much is needed ‘behind the scenes’ to keep centres like these running smoothly, working autonomously and collaboratively with the administrative and multi-disciplinary care team.
So, it goes without saying that you’re expected to have all the office management, administrative, reporting, data and systems knowledge, budget management and frontline skills required to keep the centres efficiently ticking over, day-by-day.
Intelligent, intuitive and emotionally mature, your natural, well-developed interpersonal skills enable you to offer empathy to every client while always keeping an essential professional distance.
Being able to keep calm, focused and empathetic are some of the attributes we hope you will bring to this interesting and responsive role. Your skill in graciously juggling sometimes conflicting demands while remaining unflappable, is another.
Your deep personal investment in the role and genuine interest in the centres, will see you forming many warm and constructive working relationships with clinicians, team members and other health professionals.
If you’re an experienced, organised, and professional Senior Practice Manager with strong data analysis knowledge, who loves nothing better than finding better ways to do things – this role may suit you down to the ground.
