- Qualifications in Human Services, Leadership, Management, or a combination of relevant experience, education, and/or training.

- Flexible full-time role that requires travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with occasional regional travel.
This visionary not-for-profit is an independent, community-based advocacy and education service with three decades of experience in supporting and improving the wellbeing of older people and people with disability.
In this newly created and exciting leadership position, you will report to the Manager of Disability and Business Development. Leading and working collaboratively with a diverse, experienced team you will ensure the delivery of individual and systemic advocacy support within a social justice framework. Your impressive career history will demonstrate your leadership, team-building expertise, and exceptional stakeholder management skills, supported by your friendly and welcoming attitude, combined with excellent active listening skills and an analytical mindset.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in the disability sector will enhance your credibility in leading a team of experts while managing a small caseload.
- Solid knowledge of disability support programmes, systems, and the NDIS, or the capacity to acquire this knowledge swiftly.
