Times – and needs – have changed. And now, so must this venerable and evolving enterprise.
The CEO charged with this transformation will have knowledge and expertise, drive and passion aligned to this organisational purpose – and will bring all the attributes required to make great things happen – smoothly, speedily and with the ‘blessing’ of existing teams, their clients and end customers.
The focus is on ensuring financial stability, understanding risks, building the business and being very, very sure that you are delivering the services that members and families truly want and need.
Ideally, you’ll be a collaborative, turnaround specialist who is fast on the uptake, with excellent decision-making capabilities, a friendly approachable manner and an uncanny aptitude for solving problems.
A proven well-connected advocate and persuasive communicator, you are brilliant at ‘pulling things together’, intrinsically recognising competitive advantages, pre-empting problems before they surface and realising essential efficiencies.
Board friendly, and appreciative of the nuances of operating a commercially viable business within the NFP environment, you are strong across networking and relationships, profile building, funding and fundraising, tenders and identifying/creating sustainable income.
But over and above the many complex capabilities expected of a professional leader at this level, you bring one unique benefit. And that is your ready acceptance of a fast-paced highly regulated working environment where uncertainty is the norm. Comfortable with ambiguity against a complex background of continuous change you remain calm and unfussed as you retain focus to deliver on your objectives.
An intrepid advocate, you are a voice for change who – while attending meticulously to all in-house concerns – also publicly champions your organisation at every opportunity.
