The Management Committee consists of owners, operators and managers of early learning services who have extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of early childhood, education and training, and management.

Are you an ambitious Accountant with a minimum of 3 yrs experience, looking to take the next step in your career? Join a dynamic and growing organisation where your skills will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial health of this wonderful organisation committed to the continuous improvement of the early learning sector.

Essentially, you’ll oversee all accounting activities, maintain accurate financial reports, prepare and analyse financial reports, assist in budgeting and forecasting, ensure compliance with financial regulations, adhere to accounting principles and practices and provide information to the various stakeholders, government bodies and funding partners.

As an aspiring accounting professional, you’ll understand that this job takes full responsibility for the financial and accounting functions, resources and reporting of this nonprofit organisation.

While the primary focus will be on managing systems and processes, budgets and forecasts, and preparing for audits and compliance, preparing Board reports will also be a continuous priority. You will need to be confident and articulate, with a talent for presenting financial information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, providing a transparent view of the company’s financial standing at any given time.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are crucial. We also highly value a warm and friendly team player who brings a ready smile, a sense of humour, and a positive, can-do attitude. You should feel at ease engaging with diverse audiences across the organisation, translating complex financial jargon into everyday language.
