Environment and Challenges
This is a green field, with the incoming Marketing and Communications Manager bringing their skills and expertise to develop a strategic Marketing and Communications plan from the ground up.
Bringing a vision and understanding of “What could be” you are a change agent, innovative and creative to deliver and drive an ambitious vision you bring a resilience and determination to roll up the sleeves and get it done.
This will require a rebrand and will take an innovative approach to reach as wide an audience as possible and develop the brand offering in a highly competitive secondary education market.

You also understand the importance of review and analysis particularly regarding the data that sits behind websites and social media platforms. Understanding and interpreting this data to refine messaging for greatest impact is a demonstrated skill you have developed over your career to date.
Understanding communication is with people, you bring a professional warmth and vibrancy to inspire people. A dynamic sparkle, you can tell a story and convey your message to multiple audiences.
Being in an educational environment, your eye for detail and understanding of grammatically correct messaging is a given. As a wordsmith your ability to be succinct and clear in your message is second nature.

Key selection criteria and qualification
Essential Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within an educational setting.
Strategic and Creative Skills:
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and communication strategies.
- Strong skills in content creation and copywriting.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships and expectations.
Technical Proficiency:
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with both Mac and PC environments.
- Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software.
- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
Multimedia and Social Media Expertise:
- Experience in photography and video production, utilizing multimedia for storytelling across diverse audiences.
- Proficient with various social media platforms and associated digital marketing techniques.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a creative approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with students, families, and staff.
Organizational Abilities:
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
